Hypnotherapy Under Lockdown?

With the lockdown entering its 9th week I was today given an opportunity to do some hypnotherapy.

I wasn’t breaking lockdown and I wasn’t worried about contamination or safety, because the session this morning was completely online, using Zoom (surely everyone’s best friend in this time of isolation).

My client was someone who is interested in hypnosis as a therapy, and wanted to experience it for themselves, so it was the perfect opportunity for me to see if I could replicate online my normal way of therapeutic working.

While it is strange not being able to gather all the non-verbal feedback I would normally have available to me in a session I still found that I was able to get a good ‘read’ on my client’s state and in fact the session went very well, with a long, slow induction followed by a guided visualisation, then a nice, gentle lifting of the trance to bring him back to the room, although his room is many miles from mine!

The feedback he gave me was positive; he felt he had had a good experience; he felt thoroughly relaxed and at the same time full of energy and enthusiasm. He was fired up to act on his newfound confidence and dynamic mindset.

All this means that I am now offering online hypnotherapy to anyone, anywhere in the world, as long as they’re happy to work in English, and as this is still new to me I’m offering it for just £45 per session payable by bank transfer. If there is an appetite for this service I will be including it as a regular means of working going forward for those who can’t make it to my home in West Sussex.

If you’d like to know more or to book a session please message, email or call.
